Liam participated in his first ever swimming gala at Edgemead Primary School, Cape Town, SA. There were only fun races but he got stuck in and did his best
|

Both boys did swimming training and had to swim 25 m to get their first badge. Liam did really well and made the distance with little effort ... he even decided to go twice
|

We had only been in the UK for a month and the boys joined the local football club - Westwood Wanderers. This was liams first practice and introduction to the game
|

Liam got a set of golf clubs for his birthday and decided that he wanted to do golf. So he went for 8 weeks of lessons and loved every minute of it. We decided then to let him carry on when he is a bit older and to rather now just practice with mom or at the fields

Today was Liam's first ever football match against a girls team, mind you. Considering that it was the first time their team had played together, the did really well. Liam was not at all impressed that they lost to girls though ...
|

And so the real football started. Liam's team played in their first real tournament and Liam scored his first ever goal. They lost some and drew some but it was a good effort by all
|

Liam's 3rd football tournament as part of Westwood Wanderers U7 team. I was not at the 2nd one as I was in France and it was pouring wiith rain so the camera would not have been out anyway. Once again the team did well and they even managed to win one game.

Liam participated in his first ever school sports day in England. In the running races, he was pipped at the post in his heat and ended up 4th but it wasnt for lack of trying. He also did a whole lot of fun races as you will see in the photos..

Liam decided to change clubs for the season and now plays as a goal keeper for Caversham Trents U8 who play in the first division.
